Good Friday holiday is coming up on 14 April 2017, and traffic flow through the land checkpoints at Woodlands and Tuas is expected to be heavy – particularly from Thursday, 13 April to Sunday, 16 April 2017.
Travellers using the land checkpoints during this period should expect delays, Immigration and Checkpoints Authority said in a press statement on April 11, 2017.
Travellers are also reminded to check and ensure that they are using their own passports with a remaining validity of six months or more before setting off on their journey.
Motorists are advised to check the traffic situation at both land checkpoints before embarking on their journey. Traffic situation will be provided on LTA’s Expressway Monitoring & Advisory System (EMAS) installed along the AYE and BKE respectively.
