Bollywood heartthrob Hrithik Roshan was chosen as the Sexiest Asian Male of 2019 and the last decade.
The 45-year-old actor topped British newsweekly Eastern Eye’s annual Sexiest Asian Male ranking for this year as well as the overall ranking for the last 10 years.
Asjad Nazir, founder of the list, in a tweet stated that Hrithik's victory could be attributed to the fact that the actor promotes body positivity, and also his career trajectory in 2019, with his films Super 30 and War emerging as box office hits.
"Hrithik is the most-voted star since the list was founded 16 years ago and is the most talented all-round star in Bollywood," said Nazir on social media.
Bollywood actor and 2017 winner Shahid Kapoor was in second place, with television actor Vivian Dsena ranking third, action hero Tiger Shroff debuting at No. 4 and British Asian popstar Zayn Malik completing the top 5 for 2019.
Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli, ranked seventh in the decade list, stood out as the only one in the top 10 who was not a singer or actor. The total list, which was trending on Twitter recently, will be published in Eastern Eye on Friday.
