IDF says 250 Hezbollah militants killed in four days

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has claimed to have eliminated 250 Hezbollah terrorists during operations spanning four days.

The IDF stated on X that over 2,000 military targets were also gunned down during these raids.

As per the tweet, five battalion commanders, 10 company commanders and six platoon commanders were eliminated.

“The Israeli Air Force is also conducting preemptive strikes during these intelligence-based operations in southern Lebanon,” part of the IDF tweet read.

Among the key Hezbollah figures killed during these strikes were Hashem Safieddine and Hassan Jafar Qasir. Both the deceased were relatives of slain Hezbollah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah.

Safieddine, Nasrallah’s cousin, was killed in an attack which reportedly occurred at midnight on Thursday, with Israel launching a heavy barrage of airstrikes in Beirut.

Qasir, Nasrallah’s son-in-law, was gunned down in a strike that was conducted in the Mazzeh Western Villas neighborhood of Damascus.
