Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has a hectic schedule on the second day of his Singapore visit. He met top officials, including Singaporean President Halimah Yacob and Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong. A number of MoUs were signed between India and Singapore, enhancing bilateral co-operation. Modi also held delegation-level talks with his Singaporean counterpart and the discussion focused on a wide range of our bilateral cooperation, especially in trade and investment, connectivity, innovation, technology and strategic issues. Earlier, PM Modi received a ceremonial welcome at the Istana, the office of the President of the Republic of Singapore
The most awaited speech of PM Modi was delivered at Shangri La Dialogue where he reiterated that India stands for a free, open, inclusive Indo-Pacific region, which embraces us all in a common pursuit of progress and prosperity. It includes all nations in this geography as also others beyond who have a stake in it.
