The Invest North Summit 2018 kickstarted in Singapore today in a business-like manner with officials from Indian States of Uttarakhand, Punjab and Uttar Pradesh urging the investors and entrepreneurs to make an investment in their States.
The leader among the pack, the only Chief Minister among the ministers from the visiting States wooing investors to Uttarakhand, was Trivendra Singh Rawat, described Uttrakhand as the आध्यात्मिक (Spiritual) capital of the India.
He highlighted that the State has ample opportunities for leisure tourism, adventure tourism and eco-tourism and that the State has emerged at the top by clocking the highest compounded annual growth rate (CAGR) of 16.5 per cent and 12.3 per cent in industry and services sector among states across India.
