It will not be long when the introduction, Shahid Kapoor's kid brother will be dropped while introducing the supremely talented Ishaan Khatter. Infact it will stop just after you have seen – Beyond the Clouds.
There are many reasons, besides him, to watch Ishaan's debut film. Powerful performances by him, Malavika Mohanan, acclaimed director from Bengali cinema Goutam Ghose (brilliant casting thought), gripping story, true to life characters, toe-curling moments of sheer disgust, ingenious camera and light work are a few.
Beyond the Clouds releases worldwide on April 20. In Singapore it can seen at Golden Village halls.
The film tells a story set in the Mumbai slums guided by the famous Iranian director Majid Majidi’s outlook. Enjoy some fabulous stills from the must watch movie.

Majidi, who makes his Indian directorial debut with the film, has laid out the theme of good and evil beautifully where Amir, played by Ishaan, who is introduced as a jovial character, gets into something as evil as human trafficking. Photo courtesy: Zee Studios/Namah Pictures

Tara, played by Malavika Mohanan is impeccable as Amir’s sister. Also her debut in Hindi cinema, the Malayalam actress proves her charisma in the film. Photo courtesy: Zee Studios/Namah Pictures

Ironically, Amir has to look after the man he hates. Later, when Akshi’s aged mother and young daughters turn up from the south of India, he is forced to help them too. Photo courtesy: Zee Studios/Namah Pictures
