Indian-American real estate CEO Sandeep Mathrani on Trump’s probable administration list

After roping in Nikki Haley, President elect Donald Trump has met another Indian-American real estate CEO Sandeep Mathrani in New York. Reports suggest, there is a high probability that latter might be included in the cabinet.

The Trump transition team along with President-elect Trump and Vice President-elect Mike Pence is continuously interviewing candidates for the new administration. He is also meeting Indian Americans.

Sandeep Lakhmi Mathrani, CEO and Director at General Growth Properties and a Member at The Real Estate Roundtable is also on the Board of Directors at General Growth Properties, Inc., International Council of Shopping Centers, Inc., and National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts, Inc. Mathrani was previously employed as President-Retail Division by Vornado Realty Trust, Executive Vice President by Forest City Ratner Cos., and Executive Vice President-Retail Real Estate by Vornado Realty LP.

Mathrani is a real estate industry veteran with more than 20 years of experience in the US and in India. Mathrani holds a Master of Engineering, Master of Management Science and Bachelor of Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology.
