Independence Day was doubly festive for an Indian living in Dubai who became an instant millionaire courtesy of the Dubai Duty Free Millennium Millionaire raffle draw. The result was declared on August 15, in which Bronvin S Muns won USD1 million. The event was organised at the Concourse D of Dubai International Airport.

In addition to this, a Japanese citizen also won the USD1 million prize money while two others drove away luxury vehicles.

Dubai resident Muns had ticket number 3484 of series 249, which earned him the coveted prize.
