The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has aborted the first test flight of its Gaganyaan mission on Saturday (October 21, 2023).
The launch was scheduled to take place from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre (SDSC) in Andhra Pradesh's Sriharikota.
Sources told UNI that inclement weather was said to be the reason for the rescheduling of the launch.
Gaganyaan project envisages demonstration of human spaceflight capability by launching a crew of three members to an orbit of 400 km for a three-day mission and bring them back safely to earth, by landing in Indian sea waters.
