The Jack's Place outlet at Paya Lebar Square has been suspended by the National Environment Agency (NEA) for a period of two weeks from May 3-16, 2017.
According to a suspension notice issued on May 3, the outlet has accumulated 12 demerit points over the last 12 months and was fined a total of $800.
Six demerit points was awarded to the steakhouse for failing to keep licensed premises free of cockroach infestation. Another six points was accumulated for failing to register an assistant.
All food handlers working in the suspended premises would also be required to attend and pass the Basic Food Hygiene Course again, before they can resume work as food handlers.
