After a successful theatrical run, filmmaker Jeethu Joseph’s Nunakkhuzhi is set to have its world digital premiere on September 13th on ZEE5 Global. The film has collected over USD 2.38 million worldwide during its theatrical run.
The comedy-drama stars Basil Joseph and Grace Antony. Apart from Malayalam, its original language, the film will also be available with dubbed versions in Kannada and Telugu.
Nunakkhuzhi follows the story of Eby (Basil Joseph), desperately trying to recover his seized laptop with compromising content from an income tax officer. His path crosses with Resmitha (Grace Antony), who’s dealing with her own divorce drama. As their stories intertwine, they become entangled in a web of bizarre circumstances involving a dead dentist, a confined woman, and an aspiring filmmaker. This whirlwind of confusion and unexpected connections leads to a series of hilarious misunderstandings and coincidences. Just as Eby thinks he’s found a way out of his predicament, a shocking twist threatens to expose all his carefully woven lies. Will he manage to keep his secrets hidden, or will the truth finally catch up with him?
