Right-wing leader and Bharatiya Janata Party stalwart, Lal Krishna Advani was rushed to AIIMS Delhi on Wednesday night, reports said.
The former deputy Prime Minister of India, however, is stable, reported the Hindustan Times, quoting the hospital.
Advani, a recipient of India’s highest honour, Bharat Ratna, is 96 years old.
He’s suffering from issues related to old age and is undergoing treatment at the hospital’s geriatric department.
Apart from being the Deputy Prime Minister, which he served from 2002 to 2004, Advani was also the BJP President thrice.
