Sarab Kapoor – an Indian-Singaporean self-taught chef, who is the brand ambassador of Singapore’s leading supermarket and gourmet brands – Cold Storage and Marketplace doesn’t need an introduction in the world of culinary arts.
Sarab’s cooking journey started in her mother's kitchen at a very young age. She was exposed to culinary skills by her mother through traditional cooking methods at home during her early teenage years.
Currently hosting ‘Sarab says, Make it Snappy’ an international television series airing on Zee TV Asia Pacific. Sarab brings her effortless cooking style to every kitchen.
In her previous cookery shows, Sarab has been joined by celebrity guests ranging from movie celebrities to dignitaries. Michelin starred Chef Vikas Khanna, Chef and Restaurateur of Junoon, New York City. Actor-filmmaker Mahesh Manjrekar, as well as international dignitaries such as the Indian Ambassador to Thailand.
Sarab has also authored a book – ‘Om Cooking’. It is a compilation released in 2002 comprising over 300 vegetarian recipes for a charitable organization.

Sarab has tried her hands on different cuisines and her cooking repertoire includes Singaporean, Indonesian, Thai, Indian, Malay, Italian, Mediterranean and Middle Eastern-inspired cuisine. In the first episode of ‘Sarab says, Make it Snappy’, Sarab shares the recipe of Crispy Whole Fish with Tangy Tamarind Sauce followed by Pina Colada Cheesecake in little jam jars.
