An Indian Army convoy was ambushed by terrorists in Jammu’s Kathua district on Monday afternoon, reports said.
Monday’s incident is the latest in a series of attacks in Jammu and Kashmir.
As per reports, terrorists attacked the convoy at Badnota village in Lohai Malhar area. As encounter is underway.
“Sources said the soldiers immediately retaliated, and reinforcements have been rushed to the area,” the Indian Express reported.
On Sunday, an attack left a soldier wounded. The said attack took place at an Army camp in Rajouri district’s Manjakote area in Jammu division.
However, quick retaliation by security forces forced the terrorists to flee. A joint search operation was launched later by the police and Indian Army.
