Mumbai dance troupe V.Unbeatable were unable to win American reality competition America’s Got Talent, finishing fourth. After 16 weeks of wowing the judges and the audience, the group could draw the required number of votes, with blind, autistic musician Kodi Lee adjudged the winner.

“I just want to say it’s shocking, but at the same time the impact you guys have made on this stage every single week is above and beyond what winning this show could even mean. I know you guys are going to have an incredible career ahead. I’m going to be the first person at that show,” judge Julianne Hough said as co-judges Simon Cowell, Gabrielle Union and Howie Mandel gave a standing ovation to the team.

The 29-member group, which features dancers between the ages of 12 and 27, has earlier been a part of Indian reality shows Dance Plus 4 and India Banega Manch.
