Neil Nitin Mukesh dissects his character Mickey Mehta from Hisaab Barabar

He waited for nearly six years and the right script to break his hiatus. As the suave and diabolical banker Micky Mehta, Neil Nitin Mukesh plays a pivotal role to shape Hisaab Barabar, which is currently streaming on ZEE5 Global.

In an exclusive interview with Connected to India, Neil dissected his character from the film and answered questions about his career.

The movie also stars R Madhavan and Kirti Kulhari as the leads.

Neil says even though he was idealogically drawn towards Madhavan’s character — Radhe Mohan Sharma — a TTE with a penchant for numbers and accounting, he took up the grey role as Mehta helps take the movie forward and sets it up for Sharma to hit the ball out of the park.

For those who haven’t watched it, Hisaab Barabar shows how a bank exploits unsuspecting customers to make billions without really alerting them, except when they try to do it with Sharma.

A hawkish Sharma refuses to let go, ensuing a sequence of events that forms the subject of the film.
