HP has officially launched the OMEN MAX 16 in India, a powerful gaming laptop packed with cutting-edge technology and AI-driven features.
Designed specially for India’s fast-growing gaming community, the new OMEN device promises high performance, intelligent optimization, and a personalised gaming experience.
The OMEN MAX 16 is powered by Intel’s 24-core Ultra 9-275HX processor and NVIDIA’s latest RTX 5080 GPU, offering unmatched speed and graphics, an official news release stated.
It also includes 32GB DDR5 RAM (5600MT/s) and a 1TB PCIe Gen 5 SSD, ensuring lightning-fast data transfer and smooth multitasking.
HP claims a combined CPU and GPU power draw of over 250W (75W for CPU and 175W for GPU), supported by an advanced dual fan cooling system, which is ideal for serious gamers.
The cooling setup includes heat pipes, a vapor chamber covering 61 percent of the motherboard, and a special hybrid liquid metal compound, which provides better heat transfer than regular thermal paste.
The highlight of the OMEN MAX 16 is OMEN AI – HP’s new AI-powered game optimization tool. It automatically adjusts system settings in real-time to deliver the best possible frame rates and gameplay.
According to HP, it learns from the user play style and keeps improving performance without manual tweaking. The first game to get full support is Counter-Strike 2, with more titles expected soon.
Gamers can personalise their device through the OMEN Gaming Hub, where they can fine-tune performance, cooling, and lighting. The laptop features per-key RGB lighting and an optional RGB light bar, all customisable via OMEN Light Studio. It also includes a Full HD IR camera for secure Windows Hello login, along with a physical privacy shutter for extra security.
