The sixth flight operated under the Indian government's Operation Ajay- an ongoing operation from Indian Armed Forces to evacuate citizens from Israel during the Middle East conflict- landed in India on Sunday (October 22, 2023) with 143 passengers.
The evacuated passengers included two Nepali citizens as well.
"6th #OperationAjay flight lands in New Delhi," MEA spokesperson Arindam Bagchi posted on X.
"143 passengers including 2 Nepalese citizens arrived onboard the flight," Bagchi wrote.
The passengers were received at the New Delhi airport by Union Minister Faggan Singh Kulaste.
