Paatal Lok, Panchayat, Family Man, Special Ops and Bulbbul win big at the first Flyx Filmfare OTT Awards

In the aftermath of the COVID-19 Pandemic if any space has seen exponential growth, it is the over-the-top or OTT platform. 

It was the right time therefore to introduce the first ever Flyx Filmfare OTT Awards in order to honour excellence in the OTT space.  The event was held on Saturday in Mumbai. 

The OTT streaming media service that brings content directly to the viewers via the Internet has not only grown but has excelled in its quality as well with some outstanding content streaming into our homes. 

Here is the full list of winners Flyx Filmfare OTT Awards who took home the Black Lady, arguably a long list with popular as well as critic awards. 

Best Series – Paatal Lok

Actress turned producer Anushka Sharma's desi crime thriller, 'Paatal Lok' won majorly at the Filmfare OTT Awards by sweeping all major accolades including the Best Series, Best Original Story (Series) and Best Original Screenplay (Series) Awards. 

Best Original Story (Series) – Sudip Sharma, Sagar Haveli, Hardik Mehta and Gunjit Chopra (Paatal Lok) 

Best Screenplay (Series) – Sudip Sharma (Paatal Lok)

Taking to Instagram, Bollywood actor Anushka Sharma expressed her delight at the news. 

Best Actor in a Drama Series (Male) – Jaideep Ahlawat (Paatal Lok)

Gangs of Wasseypurs popular actor Jaideep Ahlawat won Best Actor in a Drama Series (Male) for Paatal Lok. 

Best Actor in a Drama Series (Female) – Sushmita Sen (Aarya)

 Actress, model and former Miss Universe, Sushmita Sen won Best Actor in a Drama Series (Female) for Aarya. 

Sushmita thanked her fans for giving her so much love as she made  her comeback with Aarya. 

Best Actor in a Drama Series (Critics) – Manoj Bajpayee (The Family Man)

Manoj Bajpayee who won Best Actor in a Drama Series (Critics) for The Family Man, spoke about being in a room full of actors and not minding losing to anyone for the first time in his career. 

Best Actress in a Drama Series (Critics) – Priyamani (The Family Man)

Actress Priyamani who is popular in the South, won Best Actress in a Drama Series, (Critics) for The Family Man. 

Best Actor in a Comedy Series (Male) – Jitendra Kumar (Panchayat)

Jitendra Kumar who has lauded for his performance won the Best Actor (Male) in a Comedy Series Award for Panchayat. 

The fans of the series are eagerly awaiting its second season.

Best Actor in a Comedy Series (Female) – Mithila Palkar (Little Things Season 3)

Mithila Palkar won Best Actress in a Comedy Series, (Critics) for Little Things 3. 

 

Best Actor in a Comedy Series (Critics) – Dhruv Sehgal (The Little Things – Season 3)

Dhruv Sehgal won Best Actor in a Comedy Series, (Critics) also for Little Things 3. 

Best Actress in a Comedy Series (Critics) – Sumukhi Suresh (Pushpavali – Season 2)

One of many success stories in the OTT space Sumukhi Suresh of Pushpavalli won the critics best actress in a comedy series award. 

Sumukhi had this to say in her thank you speech.  

Best Director (Series) – Avinash Arun and Prosit Roy (Paatal Lok)

Pataal Lok's JaideepAhlawat dedicated his big win to the late Irfann Khan at the Flyx Filmfare OTT Awards.

Best Director (Critics) – Krishna DK and Raj Nidimoru (The Family Man)

Best Actor in A Supporting Role in a Drama Series (Male) – Amit Sadh (Breathe: Into The Shadows)

Amit Sadh won Best Actor in a Supporting Role in a Drama Series (Male) for Breathe: Into The Shadows. 

Amit spoke about his favourites in the OTT space. 

Best Actor in A Supporting Role in a Drama Series (Female) – Divya Dutta (Special OPS)

Chirpy, bubbly actress Divya was elated as she received her first Black Lady for Best Actor in A Supporting Role in a Drama Series (Female) at the Flyx Filmfare OTT Awards. 

Best Actor in A Supporting Role in a Comedy Series (Male) – Raghubir Yadav (Panchayat) 

Best Actor in A Supporting Role in a Comedy Series (Female) – Neena Gupta (Panchayat)

Best Comedy (Series/Specials) – Panchayat 

The team of Panchayat was overjoyed after winning the Best Comedy (Series/Specials) 

Best Film (Web Original) – Raat Akeli Hai 

Best Actor in a Web Original Film (Male) – Nawazuddin Siddiqui (Raat Akeli Hai)

Nawazuddin Siddiqui won Best Actor in a Web Original Film (Male) for Raat Akeli Hai. 

He spoke about his favourites from 2020 on the OTT platform at the event.  

Best Actor in a Web Original Film (Female) – Tripti Dimri (Bulbbul)

The beautiful Tripti Dimri won Best Actor in a Web Original Film (Female) for the horror thriller Bulbbul

The actress was excited at winning and it showed in her thank you speech. 

Best Actor in a Supporting Role in a Web Original Film (Male) – Rahul Bose (Bulbbul) 

RahulBose had a special message for the industry as he bagged the trophy. 

Best Actor in a Supporting Role in a Web Original Film (Female) – Seema Pahwa (Chintu Ka Birthday

Best Dialogue – Sumit Arora, Suman Kumar, Raj Nidimoru, Krishna DK (The Family Man) 

Best Cinematography (Series) – Sylvester Fonseca and Swapnil Sonavane (Sacred Games Season 2) 

Best Production Design (Series) – Rajneesh Hedao (The Forgotten Army – Azaadi Ke Liye) 

The Forgotten Army – Azaadi Ke Liye which was started by Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose in Singapore and shows the island city as it was before 1947 won accolades for Best Production Design.

Best Editing (Series) – Praveen Kathikuloth (Special OPS) 

Best Costume Design (Series) – Ayesha Khanna (The Forgotten Army: Azaadi Ke Liye)

Ayesha Khanna won best costume design for The Forgotten Army – Azaadi Ke Liye depicting the establishment of the Indian National Army by Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose in Singapore. 

Best Background Music (Series) -Alokananda Dasgupta (Sacred Games Season 2) 

Best Original Soundtrack (Series) – Advait Nemlekar (Special OPS) 

Best Non-Fiction Original (Series/Special) – Times of Music 

Fans were quick to note that all 3 generations – ‘dada, baap and beta’ – of the family from the highly acclaimed movie Gangs of Wasseypur lifted best actor trophies at the Flyx Filmfare OTT Awards. 

Jaideep Ahlawat from Paatal Lok and Pratik Gandhi from SCAM 1992 – The Harshad Mehta Story ​were favourites from 2020 for the best actor in Flyx Filmfare OTT Awards. 

The title music of SCAM 1992 – The Harshad Mehta Story was highly acclaimed and noted as one of the top ones which the audience didn't skip. Perhaps there might be awards for title tracks as well in the next OTT awards.
