ISRO says Chandrayaan-3 covered 2/3rds of distance to the Moon and set to enter Lunar Orbit tomorrow

The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) on Friday said the Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft has covered about two-thirds of the distance to the Earth’s satellite.

India’s Chandrayaan-3 rocket lifted off successfully from Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh today. If successful, the mission will make India the fourth country to achieve a controlled landing on the moon, after Russia, the United States, and China.
