Hezbollah, the Shiite militant group backed by Iran, has reportedly attacked northern Israel from Lebanon, in addition to the attacks on southern Israel carried out by Hamas from Gaza Strip.
The Israel Defense Force said it had hit a Hezbollah target in southern Lebanon.

Israel said on Saturday it had killed Hezbollah leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah in an airstrike in Beirut’s southern suburbs a day earlier, in what would be a devastating blow to the group as it reels from an escalating campaign of Israeli attacks.
“It’s very hard to imagine him coming out alive from a strike like that,” said the official.
