A plus-sized US rapper has filed a multi-million-dollar lawsuit against ride-share company Lyft after the driver allegedly refused to give her a ride in the vehicle for her size.

Dajua Blanding, better known as Dank Demoss, is also a social media influencer based in Detroit.

Blanding reportedly recorded the encounter with the driver.

The driver allegedly told the woman that she could not fit in the sedan.

The driver even asked her to order an Uber XL and promised to refund for cancelling the trip.

“I’ve been in cars smaller than that,” she told FOX 2. “I just want them to know that it hurt my feelings.”

Blanding has retained attorneys Jonathan Marko and Zach Runyan to sue for discrimination, the news channel reported.

Lyft said it condemns all forms of discrimination.

“Lyft unequivocally condemns all forms of discrimination—we believe in a community where everyone is treated with equal respect and mutual kindness,” the company said in a statement.

“Our community guidelines and terms of service explicitly prohibit harassment or discrimination,” it said.
