Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong will be delivering his National Day Rally 2017 speech on Sunday, August 20 at the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) in Ang Mo Kio.
PM Lee will speak in Malay and Mandarin from 6.45pm to 7.30pm, and English from 8.15pm to 9.30pm, accrording to a press statement from the Prime Minister's Office (PMO) on Monday.
The rally will be broadcast on local TV channels and radio stations – in English on Channel 5, simulcast on 938LIVE from 6.45pm, and on Channel NewsAsia from 8.15pm. The Mandarin broadcast will be on Channel 8 and Channel U, simulcast on Capital 95.8FM from 6.45pm and 8.15pm. The Malay broadcast will be on Suria, simulcast on Warna 94.2FM from 6.45pm and 8.15pm. The Tami broadcast will be on Vasantham, simulcast on Oli 96.8FM from 6.45pm and 8.15pm.
