It's a special year for Singapore as it commemorates its Bicentennial. The National Day Parade (NDP) will return to the Padang – where many key events in Singapore’s history were held.
The ticket application window for NDP has open, and will run till 2359 hours on June 2, 2019.
The public may apply for tickets through the web application portal on the NDP website, AXS station or SAM kiosk.
Successful applicants will be notified via email on 24 June. To collect tickets, they will have to produce the QR code included in the email notification and original photo verification (NRIC, student’s pass or driver’s license).
The theme for this year's parade, 'Our Singapore', tells the story of the nation from the past to present. Emphasising the collective ownership of the country, it aims to remind that we are living the dreams of pioneers, and that we are the pioneers of our own future.
This year's theme song draws on familiar lyrics from songs in the NDP repertoire such as ‘We Will Get There’ and ‘Our Singapore’. Featuring Singaporean musicians across four different generations, the song comprises carefully curated verses sung by 27 artistes representing different generations.
