Just a few days ago, actor Robert Downey Jr surprised a room full of attendees at the San Diego Comic Con, as he revealed himself as Doctor Doom from the upcoming movie. Now, the Oscar-winning actor’s fee for the same will make jaws drop.
As per reports, RJD, who previously essayed the popular Iron Man in the MCU, will take home upwards of USD 80 million for his new villainous role.
Brothers Joe and Anthony Russo and will direct the new films, “Avengers: Doomsday” and “Avengers: Secret Wars”, where RJD will play the supervillain.
“For Downey, who helped catapult Marvel into a money-printing machine thanks to his turn as Tony Stark in the first “Iron Man” film in 2008, his deal also is filled with perks that include private jet travel, dedicated security and a whole ‘trailer encampment’ for the newly minted Oscar winner,” read a Variety report.
