G7 leaders, joined by Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky targeted Russia over the food crisis across the globe.
Ahead of the G7 summit which India is attending at the invitation of the United Kingdom (UK), the UK India Business Council (UKIBC) stated it is highly optimistic about the Indo-UK partnership.
The leaders will discuss global issues like the coronavirus pandemic, climate change and open trade.

Speaking on the occasion, Jaishankar said India regards Italy as a key partner, a very crucial one in Europe, and a very influential one in the Mediterranean.
The two countries will pursue collaborations, programmes and initiatives in areas of trade, investment, science and technology, new and emerging technologies, clean energy, space, defence, connectivity and people-to-people linkages under the joint action plan, it said.
