Singapore International Cyber Week (SICW) 2017, in its second edition, is going to strengthen cyber capacity and partnerships for a secure and resilient digital future this year.
While gearing up to reach greater heights through the nexus of dialogues, SICW 2017 is going to focus strategic partnerships and innovations. The theme for SICW 2017 is ‘Building A Secure and Resilient Digital Future Through Partnership’ to echo Singapore’s focus on strengthening the nation’s digital future through building robust local and international partnerships.
Organised by the Cyber Security Agency of Singapore (CSA), SICW 2017 will provide an integrated platform for over 6,000 international and regional policy makers, thought leaders, industry experts and visitors to forge partnerships, engage in critical dialogues and knowledge-sharing for a secure and resilient cyberspace.
David Koh, Chief Executive of CSA, said, “For governments and organisations to be able to take full advantage of the opportunities of the digital economy, cybersecurity is an essential ingredient. We hope that SICW will serve as a valuable platform for the best cyber minds – internationally and regionally – to meet, build strong networks and friendships, engage in critical discourse and access leading-edge technologies, with the aim of building a secure cyberspace for all.”
Events under the SICW umbrella include the ASEAN Ministerial Conference on Cybersecurity (AMCC), GovernmentWare (GovWare 2017) exhibition and conference, the International Cyber Leaders’ Symposium (ICLS) and ASEAN Cybercrime Prosecutors’ Roundtable Meeting (ACPRM).
SICW 2017 will be launched by Guest-of-Honour, Deputy Prime Minister of Singapore and Co-ordinating Minister for National Security Teo Chee Hean.
