Singapore Airlines and real estate firm CapitaLand today embarked on a new rewards partnership scheme, beginning with the launch of a two-way rewards conversion programme between their respective KrisFlyer loyalty programme and CapitaStar shopping and lifestyle rewards programme.
This partnership will allow KrisFlyer members to redeem their miles for CapitaStar STAR$® and vice versa for a wide variety of lifestyle and travel rewards.
KrisFlyer and CapitaStar members will be able to convert between miles and STAR$® on the two rewards programmes via SingaporeAir.com, the SingaporeAir mobile app, the Singapore Kris+, the CapitaStar mobile app and CapitaStar.com.
"The travel, shopping and lifestyle rewards offered by KrisFlyer, Kris+, and CapitaStar are an excellent complement for one another. This allows us to offer a wider range of dining, retail, travel, and entertainment experiences, for both sets of members," JoAnn Tan, Senior Vice President Marketing Planning, Singapore Airlines, said.
To celebrate this launch, eight lucky members who convert between miles and STAR$® from today to May 4, 2021 will be selected to win 100,000 KrisFlyer miles, equivalent to a round-trip Business Class ticket to Tokyo, or 1,000,000 STAR$® (equivalent to SGD 1,000 eCapitaVoucher) for use at more than 2,700 stores across CapitaLand malls island- eCapitaMall and Capita3Eats, an official statement read.
"We are confident that our collaboration with Singapore Airlines and KrisFlyer will create a more diverse, flexible and holistic rewarding experience for more than 1.1 million CapitaStar members, further strengthening Capistar's leading shopping and lifestyle rewards programmes," Reuben Yong, Head of Coalition, CapitaLand Singapore, said.
