Singapore’s Ministry of Health (MOH) preliminarily confirmed 35 new cases of locally transmitted COVID-19 infection today. This brings the total number of COVID cases in Singapore to 62,145.
Additionally, there are 10 new imported cases who have already been placed on Stay-Home Notice upon arrival in Singapore. Among these, five are returning Singaporeans or Singapore Permanent Residents.
Of these, 22 cases are linked to MINDSville@Napiri Disability Home who have all been quarantined prior to detection. Yesterday, 27 individuals at MINDSville@Napiri tested positive for COVID-19.
Amongst the remaining 13 local cases, 11 are linked to previous cases. Of these, 6 have already been placed in quarantine and 5 were detected through surveillance. The remaining 2 are currently unlinked. Based on investigations by the MOH so far, these two unlinked cases are in the community and there are no new cases in the dormitories.
