“I have 10 shows to do, but after that I will not see you for an incredibly long time, and I will hold you dear in my heart,” she told fans.

Before going on the break, Adele will be performing the ‘Weekends with Adele‘ Las Vegas residency, which will run from October 25 to November 23.

“I don’t have any plans for new music at all,” she told Germany’s ZDF public broadcast service, as quoted by Deadline. “I want a big break after this and I think I want to do other creative things, just for a little while.”

Meanwhile, Adele has also announced her engagement to sports agent Rich Paul. Adele and Paul made their relationship public three years ago. She started dating Paul after her divorce from Simon Konecki.

She confirmed her engagement on August 9 while responding to a fan, who asked her to marry him. “I can’t marry you, because I’m already getting married,” she said, following which she flaunted her engagement ring.
