India Budget: Income tax exemption for up to USD 13,841 announced
In a relief to the middle class, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Saturday exempted annual income of up to INR 12 lakh (USD 13,841) from income tax and rejigged tax slabs as part of her reformist Budget.
