PM Modi made the remarks after witnessing the signing of several key agreements between India and Mauritius along with his Mauritian counterpart Navinchandra Ramgoolam in Port Louis, the capital city of the island nation.

Modi in Mauritius: PM to inaugurate over 20 India-funded projects in island nation

Prime Minister Modi and his Mauritian counterpart Navin Ramgoolam are jointly inaugurating the Civil Services College building. The construction of the building was completed at an approximate cost of USD 4.75 million (INR 41.44 crore). A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the project was signed in 2017.
