The most highly-paid YouTube star is just eight years old, and he's considered a veteran of the "unboxing" genre.
At the age of three, Ryan Kaji started unboxing toys in front of the camera and commenting on them. 'Ryan ToysReview' debuted in 2015 – it has since grown into a children’s channel called Ryan’s World with 23 million subscribers.
The channel's content evolved as Kaji grew up. He now also conducts science experiments and has branched out beyond YouTube with merchandise, a show on Nickelodeon and a deal with Hulu.
Topping the list of highest-paid YouTube stars released by Forbes on December 18, Kaji reportedly earned over SGD 35 million between June 1, 2018 to June 1, 2019.
