As the Indian juggernaut rolls through the ongoing ICC World Cup, perhaps the biggest hero for the Men in Blue has been Rohit Sharma. With a record-breaking 5 centuries in the tournament so far, Rohit has propelled the Indian team through the league stage and into the semi-finals.
Rohit’s form has been building for some years now and one of his standout tournaments in the last year was the 2018 Asia Cup in the United Arab Emirates, where the opening batsman captained the Indian team and finished as the second highest run scorer of the tournament, only a few runs behind Shikhar Dhawan.
Following India’s win in the Asia Cup last year, Rohit made a stopover at Singapore to launch CricKingdom, a cricket academy started by Singapore’s Women’s and Men’s cricket team skippers, Diviya G.K. and Chetan Suryawanshi.
