The trailer of the Saina Nehwal biopic released on March 8, International Women's Day. With Parineeti Chopra playing the titular role, the film showcases the Olympic bronze medallist’s badminton journey.
Saina also features Manav Kaul, Ankur Vikal, Meghna Malik and Shubrajyoti Bharat. The first half of the trailer focuses on Saina’s childhood, showing a young girl from a small village in Haryana dreaming of becoming the world’s best badminton player.
The second half of the trailer highlights the difficulties Saina faced before bouncing back to become world number one.
Saina will release in India on March 26.
