UAE-based Aster DM Healthcare is set to provide state of the art health facilities at its newly launched speciality hospital in Bengaluru. This is Aster’s second hospital in Bengaluru and 13th in India,as part of its global network of 25 hospitals, 116 clinics and 219 pharmacies.
Vajubhai Vala, Governor of Karnataka inaugurated the hospital, which is located in the heart of the city in JP Nagar.
“It gives us great pleasure to launch our second world-class healthcare facility in the Garden City of India. Aster entered Karnataka with its first hospital in Hebbal few years back and was promptly recognized as a trusted name,” said Founder Chairman and Managing Director of Aster DM Healthcare, Dr Azad Moopen, who is a recent recipient of the UAE’s Gold Card 10-year visa.
“We now have 13 hospitals in 5 Southern States of India with 4573 beds in India and 1100 in GCC. This new hospital will offer state-of-the-art quaternary care services to the people of Bengaluru as well as those coming to the city as part of Medical Value Travel from outside the country,” he added.

Sowmya Reddy, MLA from JP Nagar introduced the Aster Enable privilege cards for the benefit of special-needs patients. Card holding patients will have access to exclusive privileges and services across Aster facilities in India.
