United States President Donald Trump’s attempts to question the presidential election results and counting process suffered a blow as he lost legal battles in both Georgia and Michigan on Thursday.
In Georgia, the Trump campaign had alleged that 53 late-arriving ballots had been mixed with on-time ballots.
However, Superior Court Judge James Bass shot down the lawsuit, saying there was "no evidence" that the ballots in question were invalid.
In Michigan, the Trump campaign wanted to stop votes from being counted and get greater access to the tabulation process.
However, Judge Cynthia Stephens dismissed the case, saying, "I have no basis to find that there is a substantial likelihood of success on the merits."
The campaign is now planning to file new lawsuits in Nevada claiming voting irregularities.
Votes are still being counted in Georgia, Pennsylvania, Arizona, Nevada and North Carolina.
The Trump campaign had filed a lawsuit in Pennsylvania as well with an appeals court on Thursday ruling that Trump campaign officials be allowed to more closely observe ballot processing in Philadelphia.
