It was a momentous occasion for team India at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai, as they outplayed the New Zealand men’s cricket team to seal a berth in the final of the ICC Men’s World Cup after 12 long years. Virat Kohli, who has made a habit of making the headlines, did it again, but he was also involved in a few viral moments during the first knockout encounter on November 15.
This one involves Kohli the husband.
As per a clip, which has gone viral on the Internet, the 35-year-old was caught trying to search for his wife, Bollywood actor-producer Anushka Sharma. Mrs. Kohli was one among the several high-profile stars present at the ground, which included the likes of global football ambassador David Beckham, cricket icons Sir Vivian Richards and Sachin Tendulkar, to name a few.
Kohli, who registered his 50th ODI hundred and went past the record of his idol, Tendulkar, managed the feat while batting first. His marathon innings lasted 113 deliveries, 11 of which were boundaries (nine fours and two sixes) for a total of 117 runs.
Reaching the milestone, the batter jumped in joy and just seconds later took his helmet off to bow down to Tendulkar. Sharma, on the other hand, was seen blowing a series of kisses towards her husband, who reciprocated.

But it was a heartwarming moment after he went back to the dressing room. Once there, Kohli tried to peek from the balcony of the dressing room and look up. His wife was seated on the upper tier and the batsman tried to get a glimpse.
The couple, who tied the knot in 2017, has been inseparable ever since they started dating one another. The former first lady and man of Indian cricket is also never shy of expressing their love in public.
