Men, dragons and White Walkers! That’s not all we have for the next month. A promo of the popular television series Game of Thrones is out and it is creating a stir among the fans.
The promo is electrifying, with subtle hints about the plot as we see most of the season’s spats seem to be taking place in southern climes.
There is definitely a Star-kids reunion on the cards. Bran, played by Isaac Hempstead Wright, we think has finally reached the Wall and the door did open. His sister Sansa Stark and cousin Jon Snow are already there. Arya Stark, who seems to be on her own mission, was spotted on a beach riding a horse.
The dragons are huge as compared to the earlier seasons and Sansa seems to be powerful, especially when she fed her evil husband to his own slavering hounds in the last season.
The prominence given to Ned Stark’s eldest daughter in the new trailer will surely have supporters of Jon Snow’s claim to the Seven Kingdoms wondering if they have placed their silver on the right northerner.
The exciting thing to ask is are we witnessing Cersei Lannister’s final downfall in the face of Daenerys Targaryen’s armies, transported to King’s Landing by the Greyjoy fleet borrowed by Theon and Yara at the tail end of last season?
In the last season, Jaime Lannister was seen riding solo across a ruined battlefield, lance at the ready; it certainly doesn’t look good for his house.
With the long wait, the trailer of Game of Thrones Season 7 has left us at the edge of our seats. The fans are in big anticipation of great spectacles, terrific battle sequences and brilliant confrontations.
The television show will be aired from July 16 on HBO.
