Youth Pravasi Bharatiya Divas held virtually on the eve of PBD 2021

Ahead of the 16th edition of the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas (PBD) on January 9, the Indian Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports held the Youth PBD online on Friday.

The Special Guest for the event was Priyanca Radhakrishnan, Minister for Community & Voluntary Sector of New Zealand – the first Indian-origin Minister in New Zealand.

Also present for the virtual convention were Minister of State for External Affairs V Muraleedharan and Minister of State for Youth Affairs & Sports Kiren Rijiju. 

The Youth PBD was celebrated virtually on the theme of "Bringing together Young Achievers from India and Indian Diaspora”.

The 16th PBD is scheduled to be held virtually on January 9.
